We continue our journey along the Mississippi, arriving in Dubuque, Iowa city unknown to me
leave the municipal airport in the cold December afternoon. The weather is good, but hopefully, heading south, temperatures can climb
reach the village of La Crosse on the left bank of the Mississippi River
, which received the waters of the Black and La Crosse, is expanding, creating lakes and reservoirs
Ferryville Near the river curves sharply to the right
The virtual cockpit of the Maule I do not like much, while the 2D gives me a good feeling, especially now with the 'light visible
Welcome to Dubuque
As I wrote before, I had never heard of this city. It 's the oldest of the state and is located in a strategic area linking the three states: Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois. In June 2008 she was appointed by the Association of American mayors the city more livable in the nation. It also houses the museum and the National Aquarium of the Mississippi River, which collects the plant and animal species that belong to it.

The choice of music is linked to a personal memory. Today was the eighteenth anniversary of the death of my dear brother, Mauro. It was a big fan of aircraft of World War II and music. One of his favorite musicians was Jimi Hendrix.
I dedicate to him "Catfish Blues "
