540_CAIMANO
clouds like teeth in the mouth of an alligator:
a long jaw lurking on the water
and the rest of the body hidden in the east
then the wind reduces the threat in the background, the sky
water glows blue pacific
and we can navigate the day
driven by the current hours
this writing,
trattenuti sulla riva del fiume
dall’incertezza sulla sua effettiva misura,
dal sospetto per il pericolo sotto il pelo dell’acqua,
dalle percezione che le nostre deboli braccia
non ci faranno giungere all’altra sponda
appunti per chi si trova nel mezzo
di una giornata serena mutata in tempesta,
per chi a metà del percorso
affonda senza speranza nella corrente,
per chi al centro del flusso
rallenta il ritmo per non sprecare le forze
ma nuota finchè il tramonto l’inghiotte.
